Welcome To Ms. McGowan's Room
As a Grade 6/7 teacher, my mission is to help students build resiliency as they develop skills as critical thinkers, collaborators, and problem solvers. By fostering creative and curious mindsets, I hope that students find joy in learning, and view the world through a lens of empathy-listening to the ideas of people from all nations, in order to build understanding and initiate positive change.
Reporting Grades
How we report out grades to parents is changing. Students will receive three MyEd BC reports a year that are available online and as a paper copy. We will also have Parent/Student/Teacher Meetings twice a year.
